Launceston resident Maly Westbrook, 15, said she executed an acrobatic trick called the double tissue, maintaining composure atop a raised length of tissue.
“When I’m training, I’m thinking about things I can critique on like straight legs, pointed toes, but when I’m up there (performing) I just don’t think about it and I am entirely focused,” she said.
Circ’s’cool owner Schantal Kathriner said the advanced acrobats demonstrated flair, performing the acts in character to a range of familiar jingles, including the Nintendo theme song as the popular protagonist Mario.
