Friday afternoons at Launceston Airport are taking a turn for the better, with a new program kicking off last week.
A partnership through Music Tasmania and the James Boag Upper Deck is giving Launceston musicians the chance to take their craft to new heights.
Music Tasmania chief executive officer Laura Harper said Launceston Airport was leading the way in incorporating live music and travel experiences.
“It’s showing off, when people arrive, one of the great things that Launceston has to offer,” Ms Harper said.
Launceston’s Trent Buchanan played the 4pm to 6pm slot on Friday: “It’s a good opportunity to get my music out there.”
