Launceston weather forecast
A cold front will cross Tasmania during Friday with a strong northwesterly stream turning southwesterly in its wake. The front will be followed by a ridge of high pressure on Saturday. Another cold front will then approach Tasmania on Sunday, crossing the state in the evening and moving to the east on Monday as a deep low pressure system moves to the south of the state.

The pinnacle of motor sport racing is this weekend and there are not many people more excited than Kempsey local Neville Robertson for the Bathurst 1000.
