Daylight savings has begun.
Those recovering from the AFL grand final might not have been pleased to lose an hour’s sleep when the clocks changed at 2am Sunday morning, wound forward by one hour.
This year marks the 100th year of daylight savings in Tasmania, which was the first state to adopt it.
Tasmania first took part in daylight savings on October 1, 1916.
