Launceston weather forecast: 

 A ridge of high pressure currently over Tasmania will drift eastwards today ahead of an approaching front. The front will decay to a trough before slowly moving over Tasmania during Tuesday. A further weak front is expected to cross the state late Tuesday and early Wednesday. A complex low pressure system will affect the southeast of Australia on Thursday.
