Fatal crash at Runnymede
A 79-year-old man died as a result of a single vehicle motorcycle crash on the Tasman Highway near Runnymede on Sunday morning.

Police said the man was riding a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle at about 10.20am when the crash occurred.
One lane of the highway was closed for several hours and reopened about 2pm.
Crash investigator Kelly Cordwell said he was the fourth person to die on Tasmanian roads in the last two weeks.
It takes the state’s road toll to 30.
