Launceston weather forecast 

A ridge of high pressure bringing light winds to Tasmania today, will slowly track eastwards on Saturday allowing a northerly stream to develop. An approaching cold front will cross the state early Sunday, while a trough passes to the south during the afternoon. A weak ridge will then move over Tasmania Sunday evening, and away to the east during Monday as another cold front slowly approaches from the west late.
