Body found after suspicious house fire at Clarendon Vale

Police have arrested two Clarendon Vale men after a body was found at a residence in Saladin Circle, Clarendon Vale on Thursday.

The men, aged 38 and 57, remain in custody.

The body was found concealed in the residence, which has since been secured, after police received a tip-off. 

It is expected to be some time before the body and a cause of death can be identified. 

The Mission Australia-owned residence was subject to an arson attack early Tuesday morning, which caused about $150,000 worth of damage.

A 33-year-old Mornington woman was charged with arson following the attack.
