UTAS student allegedly robbed, teen charged
A YOUTH was charged on Tuesday after allegedly robbing a University of Tasmania student.

The alleged incident occured in broad daylight while the woman was walking towards the carpark of the university’s Newnham campus, about 4.30pm.
The woman was uninjured.
A 14-year-old was charged with robbery.
Police will allege he confronted the woman and demanded her mobile phone.
He then pushed her to the ground and stole the phone, according to police.
