Randy is known globally for his fast-paced comedy style and will perform at the Fresh Comedy Gala in October.
He has already threatened to bring Mayor Albert van Zetten onstage to tap dance along to a beat poem - so it is sure to be a good night.
“Fresh Comedy has been such a brilliant destination – having somewhere that’s established and is run by such beautiful humans is great,” he said.
“I always like those shows were people hijack each other’s performances and cause shenanigans on stage so I might even try to randomly run on stage during other people’s sets.”
While he has thought about making jokes about the City Park monkey population, he said he gets his material from everyday life, including books – which at this time is a collection of Stephen King novels.
“All I do it talk about my feelings and opinions and try to make them funny because literally anything is funny,” he said.
The comedian has just returned from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he brought his unique style of comedy to a new audience.
Randy will star alongside Luke McGregor and Matt Okine at the Fresh Comedy Gala, which will take place on October 29 at Launceston’s Princess Theatre.
