The latest in a string of touching fundraisers and events has seen members of the Aviation Rescue and Firefighting crew team up to organise a charity golf day for Pippa and her family.
The four-ball ambrose event will be held November 18 at the Launceston Golf Club and feature a raffle with prizes including airfares and accommodation on King Island.
“It’ll just be a bit of a fun day the golf day itself, a few novelty things happening as well, but basically as a crew we just thought we’d do something for young Pippa and Dave and Yvette,” organiser Troy Seen said.
Mother Yvette Harmey said Pippa was responding well to her treatment and had moved to having intravenous chemotherapy monthly instead of weekly.
“She’s coping really well,” Mrs Harmey said.
