Or perhaps a bogey will suffice, as up to 31 golf clubs across Tasmania prepare to host games suitable for all ages in this year’s Golf Month.
Open days, family days, and 3, 6, and nine hole games are just a few of the events being offered by participating clubs.
Golf Tasmania development manager Simon Weston said traditional member-based clubs were diminishing, and Golf Month would re-emphasise the sport’s importance.
“Golf tourism is exploding in Tasmania with the establishment of public, premium courses such as Barnbougle and Lost Farm in the North and Cape Wickham on King Island,” Mr Weston said.
