Deviot Hall Dance organiser Lisa Boyter said the hall had been upgraded with new toilets, a kitchen, solar panels and a heat pump.
Ms Boyter said this year’s Deviot Hall Dance promised entertainment and fundraising.
“The music will be supplied by Matthew Garwood who recently starred in the musical – Buddy, at the Princess Theatre,” she said.
She said the 100-year-old hall was now fully equipped to entertain Tasmanians into the future.
The Deviot Hall Dance takes place on Saturday, September 24.
