Human strength was put to the test during the truck pull. Participants attempted to drag a truck and trike, weighing nearly three tonnes, across the parking lot. Beau Vonstieglitz was one of many to tackle the ominous task, describing it as “heavy”.
“Once it starts moving it is fine but it is hard to get grip because there is gravel on the road,” he said.
Richardon’s Harley-Davidson managing director Simon Hrycyszyn said the day went exceptionally well despite it raining in the morning.
“We’ve had a really good turnout, I think we will be on par this year with 600 to 700 people here today,” he said.
Mr Hrycyszyn said some of the day’s highlights included the hot dog eating contest, a pop-up tattoo parlour and the dyno competition.
Heats were held for the hot dog competition and the truck pull to determine the ultimate winners.
