Crabtree’s latest exhibition, which was officially opened on Friday night, showcases a selection of works inspired by Tasmanian and New Zealand landscapes.
Crabtree said the cafe provided an ideal backdrop for the pieces.
“I think the idea of an art cafe is an excellent one - there should be more of them,” Crabtree said.
“Quite often people don't go to art galleries and if they do they feel pressured into buying something.
“Here they can just sit and relax and have a nice meal... but if they want something it's there.”
The exhibition will be on display until early October.
