The state team will contest the championships in Shepparton, from September 25-29.
Team members from across the state were selected at a statewide training day at Evandale.
The team members are: Sian Beeton (Tamar Valley), Annabella Catlin, Lily Blackaby (emg) (Latrobe), Tahlia Strong, Chelsea Cockshutt (emg), Kaitlyn Johnson, Emily Doig (Wynyard), Cara Watkins, Bronte Dare (Burnie), Mia King (East L’ton), Courtney Sharman, Melissa Smith, Brittany Grice, Maddie Gardner, Lela Spotswood, Nicholla Clarke, Elsie Watts (Launceston),Cody Lindsay (emg) South L’ton, Caitlin Denny.
“This is the third year Tasmania has fielded a stand-alone team in the championships and we will field 12 debutants this year,” AFL Tasmania development manager Barry Gaby said.
