A final dress rehearsal at the theatre provided a teaser of what is to be expected from the hit Broadway spectacular.
Featuring more than 140 talented young performers, the show offers a classic selection of iconic 80’s songs under the stages bright lights.
Rock of Ages director Cheyne Mitchell said the production screens provided by Alive Technology in Hobart are the same screens used at Splendour in the Grass.
Performers Lauchy Hanson, as Lonny, and Ashley Steven, as Sherrie, said the cast is extremely excited for opening night.
“It is just an unreal experience, with opening night tomorrow I cannot contain my excitement,” Lauchy said.
“Everyone has been working so hard, it is amazing the effort everyone has put in,” Ashley said.
