The nomination for the prestigious awards recognised Saffire‘s unique devil program, where visitors meet seven retired Tasmanian devils and learn about their cause.
“It's amazing how it's resonated with the guests,” Saffire general manager Justin King said. Guests can also adopt a devil, with funds raised going towards the Menzies Institute for research into the devil facial tumour disease and the ranger program.
Mr King said the award shines a light on the devils cause. “We’re really excited to be able to spread that message far and wide,” he said.
Saffire is the only Australian venture nominated.
