A night the Strikers skipper was confident would end with a Strikers victory.
“We know it will be a tough contest, but these are the games you want to be playing in,’’ Mann said.
“We will just have to enjoy the moment and just cherish this game and try to put in a good performance.
“The whole city of Devonport is buzzing about this game and we’re excited as well.”
Mann said he expected to face a ‘’quality team’’ in the powerhouse Bentleigh Greens.
To get to the quarter-final stage the Strikers will need to bring their ‘’physical game’’.
“They are going to be a tough opposition no doubt, but I think we are good enough to beat them on the night,’’ Mann said.
“We just need to focus on ourselves and what we want to do, the way we want to play and really fight it out.
“We need to be physical and strong in the contest and not be scared of anything.
“We need to show no fear, because we shouldn’t fear them.
“Yeah, they are the champions of Victoria, but we are the champions of Tasmania and we need to show that.”
Mann called on the Strikers’ supporters to again pack Valley Road, saying the support in the win over the Lambton Jaffas was vital.
A crowd of about 3000 is expected for the 8pm kick-off.
