The action plan has been developed over nine months with the consultation and input of the community, councils and relevant agencies.
The plan covers management areas like bushfire management, waste management, weed management and revegetation, feral and domesticated animal management and the protection of sensitive areas.
The meeting is an opportunity for interested people to comment on the plan and meet the Tamar NRM program co-ordinator. They will also hear more about the organisation's role in George Town.
The event is at 10.30 at Weymouth Hall and will be attended by progress associations, coastal community groups, George Town Council, Parks and Wildlife, DPIPWE and the Tasmanian Fire Service. RSVP’s are appreciated to 6323 3310.
