Tasmanian Leaders is proudly celebrating its 10th anniversary of delivering excellence in leadership development, earlier this year graduating its 200th participant, ensuring its mission to create a successful future for Tasmania is being realised
Taking leadership development to a new level, Tasmania’s premier leadership development program guarantees to accelerate participant’s leadership capacity with benefits and learnings extending well beyond the initial eleven month commitment.
The program seeks to include participants from a broad spectrum of experiences and backgrounds, drawn from all sectors including community and not-for-profit organisations, statutory bodies, local, state and federal governments and small, medium and large private enterprises.
Current participants of the program include CEO of Tourism Northern Tasmania, Chris Griffiths who said that so far the program has been invaluable to him both personally and professionally, with the friendships and networking with the other participants being a highlight.
“The people that you get to meet along the way and the friendships that are formed have been a real highlight for me.
“Bringing together participants from such diverse backgrounds, with different thoughts and perspectives has resulted in challenging and broadening my views and given me a bigger perspective of the Tasmanian condition and culture.”
In bringing together individuals from a diversity of backgrounds and exposing them to a cross-section of today's leaders, the program fosters the capacity of all participants to learn and engage across a range of issues relevant to Tasmania's future.
