William 'Bill' Redman was last seen at the lodge about 11pm, and was wearing a black and white t-shirt, fawn trousers.

He may be wearing a green khaki jacket. 

Acting Sergeant Paul Thomas said Mr Redman was believed to be still in the Launceston area.

"Any family, friends or members of the public who are aware of the whereabouts of Mr Redman are requested to contact Launceston Police Station on 6777 3945 or Crimestoppers on 131 444,” Acting Sergeant Thomas said.
