South Launceston Suns have earned straight entry into the Greater Northern League women's hockey grand final with a solid 3-1 win over West Devonport.

The game was a close hard fought skillfull affair with both sides playing attacking team hockey.
The Suns scored first through a field goal to Hayley Johns, with a direct shot from the top of the circle.
West levelled up 10 min later through Sam Lawrence in a strong passage of play for West before South Launceston then scored a deflection goal from Jo Brumby on a well worked penalty corner.
In the second half the the play see-sawed with both teams lifting the tempo but the Suns were able to score another goal on a penalty corner by Nicole Symons.
West's Amee Freeman, Lucinder Spencer and Jodi Thow played tirelessly, while Suns were lifted by excellent games from Emily Nunn and Goal keeper Lynsey Shepherd-Blazely.
Queechy have defeated South Burnie in the elimination final 1-0 in Burnie.
South Burnie came out strong and dominated the first 15 minutes with Jodi Lancaster, Tess Leary, Talia Britton and Chloe Leary all playing well and creating opportunities.
The game shifted and Queechy started dictating the play and scored through Debbie West off a penalty corner.
Queechy were tight in defence and did not allow many shots on goal, with Nic Duffy and Mikaela Clarke very strong.
They played an excellent team game, and will take on West Devonport in next week’s preliminary final.
