The former State fast bowler and current Mowbray Coach has been extensively involved in cricket since his first-class debut for Tasmania in 1984.
He was rewarded for the “hundred and one other jobs he does around cricket making him a worthy addition to the honour list of Life Members”, Cricket North said on social media.
Meanwhile, the Westbury Shamrocks have announced their captains for the 2016-17 season.
Retaining their roles are Michael Lukic (1st grade), Brett Ball (4th Grade maroon) and Travis Anderson (4th Grade red) with Shaughan Killalea the newly-appointed second grade captain.
