The National Automobile Museum of Tasmania is holding their annual awareness weekend, with free entry to the museum and a show of private display cars outside.

National Automobile Museum of Tasmania manager Philip Costello said the event normally attracts around 3000 people.
On Sunday visitors are given the opportunity to look over privately owned cars and motorcycles that they might not see on display elsewhere.
“We ask anybody who’s got an interesting car or motorcycle to bring it along tomorrow and park it out in the carpark,” Mr Costello said.
Previous years have seen up to 300 cars and motorcycles shown off at the event.
The free entry over the weekend is also an opportunity for locals to see what is usually mainly a tourist attraction.
“It just gives local people an opportunity to come in and have a look,” Mr Costello said.
This year also marks the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the museum in its current building.
