So, what do travellers think of the city?
Australian performance artist Renae Shadler has collaborated Can you see what we see?, a body of work which incorporates audio, video and participatory activities into a walking tour of Launceston for Junction Arts Festival. Shadler invites locals to see Launceston from a fresh perspective, through the lens of a traveller.
“During the tour, you will experience audio works, video installations and participatory activities that make the familiar unfamiliar by investigating our relationship to place, time and those around us through the context of travel,” Shadler said.
It will be a one-of- a-kind experience finding beauty in everyday spaces and highlighting Launceston’s hidden gems.
