Tasmania Police is investigating after a fire was ‘deliberately lit’ in the former C.H. Smith Marine building in Launceston on Friday.

Tasmania Fire Service was called to the building at about 1.30pm after reports of a fire at the premises.
Tasmania Police said it is believed the fire started after a bean bag inside the building was deliberately lit, causing around $500 worth of smoke damage.
