A Scottsdale family say it could be as early as Christmas before they return home after a man lost control of his truck and caused significant damage to their property.

Sandra Mountney said the insurance company had organised short-term accomodation for her and her husband out in Scottsdale.
She said a builder had stabilised the house and secured it, but the couple were still waiting on the structural engineer to assess whether the home could be rebuilt.
Mrs Mountney said she had moved most of her possessions out of the home.
“There will have to be a long-term plan in the end because I doubt we will be back before Christmas,” she said.
No one was seriously injured in the incident, which occurred earlier this month.
