The symposium plans to examine sculptures interconnected with Tasmanian history, featuring seminars and workshops.
Artentwine artistic director Robyn Barnet said the event supported the Artenwine Sculpture Biennial.
“It’s using the artists and people who are interested in the environment from both Tasmania and interstate, coming to talk about the sculpture and its importance in the landscape,” she said.
The Artentwine Sculpture Biennial Symposium runs from Friday, October 14 to Sunday, October 16. Details can be found on their website: artentwine.com.au
