The conference will be held on September 9-11 in Canberra and will focus on the theme “women shaping our future: reflections from the Limestone Plains.”
The scholarships are available to women working in the agricultural sector or in rural communities and have been impacted by the recent dairy crisis, floods, drought, financial hardship or lack of access to training and development opportunities.
The scholarships will cover the full cost of attending the conference. They are sponsored by Agsafe and the AWiA board. The event has a prestigious line-up of speakers includes RIRDC rural women of the year, CEO’s, Nuffield scholars, commissioners and several politician’s.
Applications for the scholarships are now open and will close on August 12. To apply for a scholarship, an application form is available from the AWiA website.
