Three heats of the sprint series will be held at Mowbray on Monday night with some of Tasmania’s best chasers lining up to earn their spot into next week’s state final.
A prelude for the distance series will also be held with a full field of eight runners likely do battle again in next Monday’s final.
The J.G. Nelson Cup Series came to a climax last Monday night when four division finals were decided with some interesting results.
Katey Roman for Paul Hili claimed the Division 1 final, with Glenrea Target successful for Anthony Bullock (Division 2), Count Baroque for Ted Medhurst (Division 3) and Pure Presence for Russell Watts (Division 4).
