Old Launcestonians will play Old Scotch at Invermay Park on Friday with the seniors at 6.15pm followed by the reserves about two hours later. The match will support City Mission and spectators are asked to donate warm clothing and bedding at the ground.
On Saturday, the Tigers and Redlegs will face-off in a top-of-the-table clash at the same time as South Launceston and Longford will compete at Youngtown Oval.
The under-19s will kickoff the day from 3pm before the reserves at 5pm and seniors at 7pm. “The new lights have proven beneficial for training and now we get to showcase this under match conditions as the two top clubs (Rocherlea and Bracknell) battle it out for top spot,” Rocherlea secretary Graeme Gardner said. The NTFA scheduled a record five Saturday and six Friday night games this season in a bid to offer supporters an alternative to afternoons.
