Competitors braved rain, wind and snow over 10-kilometre courses at Pontville.
Smith also claimed the over-40s title while Hamerlok led home a top quality field with Northern runners Dylan Evans and David Thomas finishing second and fourth respectively and Sandy Bay’s DeJen Gebreselassie completing the podium.
