With 2865 unapportioned Labor votes yet to count, Senator Singh has secured 18,055 votes; just over .7 of a senate quota.
Senator Singh is expected to secure up to .8 of a senate quota by the time all Labor votes have been apportioned.
Experts suggested it was almost impossible for her to retain her seat after she was preselected in sixth place on the Labor senate ticket.
The latest figures show Senator Singh is incredibly likely to be re-elected, with Liberal Senator Richard Colbeck and Greens Senator Nick McKim in a battle for the 12th senate spot.
Psephologist Kevin Bonham has predicted Liberal Senator David Bushby will be elected before Senator Colbeck, despite the Devonport-based MPs strong below the line vote.
Psephologists predict the Greens (1.43 senate quotas) were more likely to gain a second seat than the Liberals (4.23) senate quotas, although that result is reliant on the Greens receiving preference flows from right-wing parties.
A result isn’t expected to be known until late next week at the earliest.
