After the 2015 confusion of “have they broken up?” to the “wait but they just released two albums” comes Bottomless Pit.
It’s 13 tracks of perfectly harnessed chaos.
The group is what it is because of the styles it mashes together. Musical styles, which, traditionally, don’t even sit next to each other in the record store, let alone in the same track.
Those familiar with Death Grips can expected a less hectic but still rewarding rendition of the band’s niche sound.
For the uninitiated, you’re in for a treat.
Stand out tracks include the opening ditty Giving Bad People Good Ideas, which stars some killer vocals donated by Clementine Creevy, as well as Warping and 80808.
