Blenheim owner Jennie Chapman said while places had been filled for the first workshop on July 16 - a session for experienced bonsai lovers - an August 13 workshop for bonsai beginners was still open for registrations.
“They live for sometimes 60 to 80 years so it's an art in itself,” Ms Chapman said.
“The intention is to have these courses and then we'll do it again the following year as a way of ongoing support for people as they're undertaking their bonsai journey.”
Both workshops run from 10am to 4pm.
