In a dominant display of teamwork, the Demons were on fire early against a depleted opposition and by quarter time led 9.3 (57) to 2.2 (14), courtesy of three goals each from Hamish Brown, Dwayne Howard and Ashley Dudman. Motton then upped the ante to deny the Crows any chance of posting a competitive score.
It was a costly loss for East Ulverstone who relinquished third spot on the ladder to Wesley Vale, when the Kangaroos romped home by 200 points against Sheffield. Although their full forward Ben Holland shone in front of goal with 12 majors it was their recruit Mark King who controlled the ruck contests to be best afield.
And in an afternoon of one-sided contests, reigning premier Forth kept West Ulverstone scoreless while booting 38.21 (249) and Turners Beach outplayed Spreyton to win by 134 points.
