The Launceston boxer was nominated after winning two out of four competitions in the Tasmanian Boxing League, and will be travelling to Cairns in November to compete in a competition for teenagers aged 10-14.
Mr Millhouse trains twice a week at the George Town Amateur Boxing Club, and recently won a competition up in Claremont.
He said he is planning on rigorous training for November’s competition, and hoped to one day qualify for the Olympics.
Mr Millhouse’s father has won two Tasmanian titles, and formerly received coaching under the Club’s head trainer Des Mills.
