Presenting a collection of works inspired by Tasmanian landscapes, the exhibition will be on show from 9am to 5pm daily until July 31.
Crabtree said he had carried a love for painting throughout his working career in the building and architecture industries.
"The thing about painting is you're always exploring new techniques and new areas, stretching the boundaries,” Crabtree said.
"You never quite know how it's going to end up - you start off something and think “this is an awful mess” and then suddenly something happens and it all starts to come together.”
