Brushy Lagoon can also still be fished, and further welcome news is that the road in will probably re-open next week following the building of a temporary single-lane bridge.

Huntsman Lake remains open and has been spilling. Huntsman is closer for many, and although its brown trout weigh up to only 0.7 kilograms, they are plentiful.
Anglers slowly retrieving wet flies or soft plastics along its flooded shores can expect action, needless to say especially in miserable weather.
East Coast angling continues to reward. Schoolie bluefin tuna around 20kg are plentiful and close to St Helens, where sizeable garfish in channels near the mouth of Georges Bay are also worth going after.
Blackback are still being hauled up eastern beaches, while bream catches are pleasing Swan River anglers.
Part of the rock lobster fishery was closed on June 25 while its crays are tested for toxin levels. Closed is the area between Wineglass Bay and the southern end of Marion Bay.
