The team have travelled to three different towns during the past month, to meet the communities at the centre of regional news.
This week the Rotary Club of George Town will cook a barbecue outside newsXpress George Town at 1/83 Macquarie Street, will sausages to be sold for $1 each.
Owner/manager of the newsagency Sue Sherriff said it will give people a chance to talk to the people behind The Examiner.
“It would be great for people to hear some of the logistics of things about how they get it out there, and also to discuss why some of the changes were made recently,” she said.
The barbecue will run from 11.30am to 2.30pm.
