Head of Tasmanian Operations Barry Thompson said restoring boundary fence will be the prime objective.
“What we have done is we have started at Port Sorell and Ulverstone and once we get them up and running with a suitable amount of volunteers then we will roll out into Mole Creek and then out in the Hamilton region,” he said.
“If that means pulling up or recovering damage fencing and putting it to one side, or clearing it and extending or repairing we will do that.”
Blazaide have called for volunteers to help local farmers to rebuild, and already have numbers due to cross Bass Strait.
“It’s going to be difficult to get them across the water from the mainland, so locals are going to be an important part where we have them for a day or a week or whatever but we've already had some terrific responses from locals to support the cause,” Mr Thompson said.
