You're in luck - the Hobart Cat Cafe is almost open for business.
Tasmania's first cat cafe, which has already amassed a massive social media following, will open its doors on July 1.
The cafe will have a dedicated cat room, where ten patrons can mingle with the ten resident cafe cats.
Hobart Cat Cafe co-owner Adam Honeyman said the cats have been adopted from the RSPCA and shelters.
"We're choosing them all based on their personality, to make sure they're fine with groups of people and with other cats, that they don't get stressed out," Mr Honeyman said.
There will also be a cat-free area that can seat ten patrons.
"You can come into the cat room and eat with the cats and pat them and read books and play games," he said.
"[The cats are] all getting along really well, they're all friends with each other and creating their own little hierarchy in the group.”
It will be open Monday to Saturday 7.30am to 6pm, and Sunday 8.30am until 4pm at 269 Elizabeth Street, Hobart.
Bookings are advised and can be made at www.hobartcatcafe.com.au
