The chain restaurant will take residence on the corner of York and Bathurst Street in a building that formerly housed Flip Burger.
According to plans published by the City Of Launceston, the restaurant layout is expected to contain the same amount of seating as the former restaurant and will utilise the drive through laneway.
Zambrero was founded in Canberra in 2005.
It has 110 stores operating nationally and internationally and a share of its profits go towards humanitarian causes.
There is a Zambrero store in Hobart and a Devonport store is scheduled to open soon.
Plans and a store layout can be viewed on the City Of Launceston’s website.
Jobs at the Launceston store are yet to be advertised.
