The event will see The Examiner team visit Deloraine Newsagency to chat with locals about the issues important to them.
Deloraine Newsagency owner Mick McHarg will give one lucky home subscriber a $50 voucher with another $50 voucher up for grabs as a lucky door prize.
“The biggest opportunity is for subscribers to come face-to-face with some of The Examiner employees,” he said. “People can raise discussion points – good or bad, whatever they may be – with Examiner representatives.”
The Rotary Club of Deloraine will cook the barbecue and all funds raised will go back into the club’s activities in the community.
Sausages will cost $1 each. Meat has been supplied by Best Butchery and the bread from Hardy’s Fresh Bread.
The event will run from 11.30am to 2.30pm at Deloraine Newsagency, 30 Emu Bay Road, Deloraine.
The Examiner has previously visited Scottsdale and Longford.
