After finding a pattern maker in Melbourne and a manufacturer in Devonport, the Cressy mother-of-three set about creating clothing designs before establishing Little Peeps Fleece, which has now been running for more than two years as an online store selling merino for kids.
“I grew up on a wool farm in southern Tasmania and I just thought it would be nice to incorporate Australian merino wool into garments for children,” Mrs Tole said.
“It’s so soft next to skin which is perfect for kids, because you can be warm without bulk and they’re free to run around and do their thing.”
