Following the event’s success in 2014, the Break O'Day Business Enterprise Centre has set about organising more than 30 guest speakers to present in St Helens and Triabunna between June 20 and June 22.
Centre manager Nick Crawford said the free conference aimed to provide small businesses and small business intenders with information on how to start up and run a business.
“It's a one-of-a-kind in Tasmania, there's nothing quite like this,” Mr Crawford said.
“It's aimed squarely at small business, it's not for the big end of town, it's for small business and it's full of world-class presenters that we've brought in from around the country.”
This year’s keynote speaker stocks are packed with entrepreneurial talent and will include The Templar Group’s Debra Templar, Bellamy’s Organic founder David Bellamy, Chin Communications marketing and communications manager Yao Cheng, and William McHenry of William McHenry and Sons Distillery.
Mr Crawford said the conference would provide small business operators with a range of perspectives from successful entrepreneurs – and the opportunity to pick the brains of speakers in a one-on-one environment.
“There's quite a bit of stuff about mountain bike tourism and the opportunities attached to that, we've got East Coast Regional Tourism coming and they'll be talking about the East Coast Drive and how you can leverage off that.
“We've got the Australian Tax Office coming and they'll be helping people filling in forms and showing people how to put in their business returns.
“It's a fantastic chance to receive advice for free and to get one-on-one with these presenters - there'll be morning and afternoon teas and an opportunity to all catch up together.”
Tidal Waters in St Helens will host the first two days of the conference, which will include a gala corporate networking event on the Monday evening, before the conference moves to The Village in Triabunna on the Wednesday.
Registrations close on Friday and can be made by emailing admin@smallbusiness.org.au
