SES to test Invermay flood siren

The SES tests the siren twice a year.
About 3000 residents and 270 business would need to be evacuated if the Invermay and Inveresk area experienced a major flood event.
In the event of a flood evacuation, the siren would sound for a one minute period every 15 minutes.
