The Midlands have become synonymous as a high quality wool producing area, partly in thanks to the Campbell Town show.
Being Tasmania’s only sheep show there has always been a heavy influence of wool and wool producers in its 178 years reign.
And this year is no different, with the Fashion Parade taking place on Saturday at both 11am and 2pm and guaranteed to be the biggest and best yet.
Producer of the fashion collection Christopher Horne, has been involved with Campbell Town Show for the past 16 years.
“This year we have amazing wool collections from all over Australia, and it will take you from sport with Ortovox to casual wear with Country Road and Sabatini and on to formal wear.
“We also have a men's range from the Australian Wool Innovation, making this the largest and most varied collection we have ever showcased at the show,” he said.

With winter now upon us the Campbell Town show is the perfect time to showcase the versatility and warmth of wool.
“All the collections really show how versatile wool can be, we have great ranges that vary in natural and dyed colours and it really caters to all ages.”
This is the first year the show will be using all Tasmanian models during the Fashion Parade a fact which Debra Cadogan-Cowper manager of the Tasmanian Wool Centre, Ross is very excited about.
“The Campbell Town show is all about community, we have been sponsors of the show for years, there promote not only wool fashions but wool production in the Midlands.
“It is a great opportunity for us to showcase our garments, and what is available in the Midlands - you don’t have to go far for high quality,” she said.
The Tasmanian Wool Centre pride themselves in only using Australian sourced wool and will be showcasing a wide variety of wool fashion on the day to suit all age ranges.
With the wool production links to Campbell Town Show, Christopher Horne believes that the show will be well received.
“The show is great and they are always very attentive and appreciative, people are interested to see where their wool goes to and what the final product is and it’s exciting in the winter season to see how it’s portrayed,” he said.
Campbell Town Show will run for two days from Friday June 3, with the Fashion Parade on Saturday at 11am and 2pm.
