No need to stress, the instructors at the Launceston Yoga Centre can help calm your nerves.
The centre has a new name and home at Elizabeth Street and offers a variety of yoga and meditation classes.
It has now been renamed to the Satsang Yoga Sanctuary, which means being surrounded by the company of truth.
Satsang Yoga Sanctuary owner Kinga S. Kielar-Coe said both meditation was backed by science, and had a profound effect on changing our mindsets.
Ms Kielar-Coe said the services would help people forget the hustle and bustle of modern life.
“Rather than a place people come in for a class and run away, it will be a place where people can sit and actually do some meditation or yoga to balance their busy lives,” she said.
Eight teachers offer various yoga and meditation styles, including mindfulness meditation and hatha Yoga.
Massages, naturopathy and reflexology are among a host other complementary therapies available.
The Satsang Yoga Sanctuary will be holding a free open day for yoga and meditation activities on June 4.
They are located on 70 Elizabeth St in Launceston.
